As the MP covering the area of Wembley Stadium I know how important safety and security is for residents and fans in the local community.
It was my pleasure therefore to serve on the Public Bill Committee for the Unauthorised Entry to Football Matches Bill. This Bill follows the report commissioned by the Football Association (FA) into the dangerous mass unauthorised entry that occurred during the Euro 2020 final. It would create a new offence of unauthorised entry to designated football matches in England and Wales.
