I was proud to add my signature to this letter addressed to the Prime Minister, urging the UK Government to formally recognise the State of Palestine.
This is not just about diplomacy—it’s about justice. Recognition of Palestine is a necessary step toward a meaningful peace process and a two-state solution that upholds international law and human rights for all.
By recognising Palestine, the UK can show moral leadership and help create the conditions for lasting peace. It sends a powerful message: that the rights and freedoms of the Palestinian people cannot be ignored.
This letter is a call for action. A call for the UK to stand on the right side of history.
