Dawn, in response to the Danny Baker Royal Family tweet, said: 

I welcome the swift action taken by the BBC.     Racism and discrimination has no place in society and the BBC, like all broadcasters, has a responsibly to ensure that views such as this are not given a platform     This case also highlights the importance of diversity training and the vital need to increase diversity at all levels in the media, and I hope all broadcasters will now take this seriously.

Contribution of Sikhs to the UK Debate

Yesterday I was proud to speak on behalf of the Labour Party about the incredible contribution of Sikhs to the UK. This debate marked the end of Sikh Awareness Month and highlighted that we all have an important role to play to ensure there's less hate in society, and more acceptance. Here's part of my speech.
