It was a pleasure to join the FA for their Ramadan Iftar at Wembley Stadium on the 3rd April.
It was a wonderful evening for the breaking of the fast at the home of football. The events included a panel discussion and Q&A before the call to prayer on the football pitch. It was truly awe inspiring to be in such an iconic venue for this event which was an important moment for reflection.
The iftar was attended by over 300 people from the Brent community and I welcome that this iftar has now become a regular annual event in the Brent calendar.
