Dawn met with students of Newman Catholic College
Dawn has this week written to the Chief Executive of Brent Council, Carolyn Downs, in support of Newman Catholic College’s campaign for improved lighting at Roundwood Park. Earlier this month Dawn met with students from Newman Catholic College, who form part of North London Citizens, and signed their letter calling on Brent Council to install new lighting specifically around the skate park. Students at the college are concerned that the skate park is dangerous at night and many are concerned for their safety. Dawn's letter to the Chief Executive of Brent Council highlighted her support for lighting up Roundwood Park and called on them to congratulate the students for their pro-active campaign. In addition, Dawn Butler has requested Brent Council now issue its formal response to the campaign. |
