It was wonderful to welcome Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London, to the Central Mosque of Brent in Willesden Green for a special multi-faith event on climate change and the environment.
This was an important moment in the campaign to champion our environmental policies. There was a special exhibition followed by a breaking of the fast during for Ramadan.
It was a pleasure to address the congregation alongside Sadiq Khan and the Leader of Brent Council, Cllr Muhammed Butt and our London Assembly Member, Krupesh Hirani.
