I joined the Harlesden SNT for a local walkabout to hear from them on what action they are taking to keep our community safe and listen residents about their concerns in the area.
Then I joined the Harlesden Safer Neighbourhood Team for the launch of their first-ever British Sign Language contact point at the New Atlas Cafe.
This contact point is an opportunity for people who use BSL to come along and talk with the Metropolitan Police about their policing priorities. The SNT had trained sign language interpreters on hand to assist them with communication.
