Dawn Butler MP met with the Jewish Community Council

This week I met with representatives from the Jewish Community Council (JCC) in Parliament.

The JCC represents members of the Orthodox Jewish Community from North London and also from across the country. It was interesting to hear from the JCC about key issues of concern including about their lunch club initiatives and of the need to expand free school meals to low-income families in independent educational settings.

I look forward to working with the JCC in my capacity as Chair of London PLP to arrange a delegation to Stamford Hill, to meet directly with some local community representatives and leaders.
