The Young Brent Foundation has now launched its Fun Fit Families Project across Brent in association with Sport England and the National Lottery.
This innovative new project aims to work with local families and young people over the next 3 years to support them in becoming more physically active and fit and to lead healthier lifestyles! This project seeks to offer 5-10 year olds an enjoyable experience of sport and physical activity so they develop a positive attitude towards being active at an early age. It also aims to get parents active alongside their children as active parents can encourage positive feelings about exercise and its value in their children.
Fun Bit Families is a free programme offering fun physical activity across a 36 week programme which includes mentoring support and loans of sports equipment to families. If you would like to sign-up to the scheme to get more active alongside your children you should contact one of the local providers below:
