Dawn Butler MP welcomes winners of Christmas card competition to Houses of Parliament

This week Dawn Butler MP welcomed to the Houses of Parliament children from Mora Primary School who had submitted the winning entries to her 2015 Christmas card competition.

Every year Dawn Butler MP will invite school children from schools across Brent to participate in her Christmas card competition. The winning entries are featured on a card delivered to 47,000 households in the Brent Central constituency.

The winning 2015 entries were received from Nathan Baker (age 10), Sheelan Dawood (age 9) and Pedro Da Rocha (age 8) all of Mora Primary School. To congratulate the children on their winning entries Dawn Butler MP took the children on a tour of parliament and to lunch on the terrace.

Dawn Butler MP said:

“It was a pleasure to welcome Nathan, Sheelan and Pedro to the Houses of Parliament and to congratulate them on their winning entries to my Christmas card competition. The entries from Brent schools which were all of an especially high quality – Nathan, Sheelan and Pedro should be rightly proud of their achievement.”
