On Friday 8th July 2016 Dawn Butler MP celebrated the opening of Harlesden Primary’s new school building with children and staff at the school.

The building has been in construction over the past few years further to the school’s expansion from a one form to three form entry to accommodate the growing community of staff and students.

Ms Butler was welcomed to the school by Headteacher Sarah Wawn, and Chair of Governors, Narinder Nathan. Children at the school celebrated by reading poems and in performing a dance.

Dawn Butler MP said:

“It is amazing to be here today for the unveiling of Harlesden Primary School’s newest addition. The children here are an inspiration and even taught me a new dance! Teachers at the school have also done a great job in rapidly improving its Ofsted rating; I hope the school continues to go from strength to strength.”
