To mark the official opening of Dawn Butler MPs constituency office Dawn will be holding a Macmillan Coffee Morning to raise money for the cancer charity and invites residents to come and join her for coffee, tea and cake.
Sadly one in two people are affected by cancer at some point in their lives and the support Macmillan not only provides to sufferers but also the friends and families of those going through treatment is invaluable. Over the last decade alone Macmillan has been able to invest £320 million for treatment, research and support into the NHS.
Dawn said “I wanted to do something special with the official opening of my constituency office and thought of no greater way of using it to help raise money and help those who need it most.
Not only can we raise awareness of the support that is available for sufferers but also raise much needed money to help continue the great work that Macmillan provides to many of the two million cancer sufferers in this country.
I encourage anyone to come and join me for a coffee, cake and chat as we officially open our brand new constituency offices.”
So join Dawn and friends at the new offices on Thursday 26th November 10am till 1pm.
Dawn’s offices, which are already open and up and running at 156 High Road, Willesden, NW10 2PB, hold surgeries by appointment on Monday and Friday’s 10am-12pm and Thursdays 4-6pm and constituents can contact the office on 0208 451 6560.
