Dawn Butler MP meets Donnington Court residents over housing concerns

On Saturday 9th July 2016 Dawn Butler MP met with the residents of Donnington Court in Willesden to hear their concerns about the quality of local housing.

The Donnington Court Residents Association have outlined to Ms Butler a shocking list of concerns relating to the management of the building including damp, poor insulation, leaks in properties, inadequate fire security and more.

Ms Butler has pledged to take up the case on behalf of local residents with housing provider, Genesis, and vowed to get to the bottom of the problem.

Speaking about the housing concerns Dawn Butler MP said:

“I plan to meet Genesis to tackle the growing list of problems. Every month I take up roughly 800 cases on behalf of constituents seeking help with local issues and problems.”
