Dawn Butler, Labour Member of Parliament for Brent Central, this week joined the panel for a special 'Question Time' event held at Brent Civic Centre as part of Local Democracy Week, which falls between 10-16 October.
Dawn Butler MP said:
“Local Democracy Week is a crucial opportunity for residents to have their say on the many important issues facing our community so I was particularly pleased to join the panel for this special Brent version of Question Time. I’d like to thank everyone who contributed a question and to the many people who joined us on the night to make this event a success.”
“Whilst Local Democracy Week is a special opportunity for residents and politicians to meet and talk, this is something I do all year round as the MP for Brent Central. If you have a question you’d like to put to me about a local matter or any other you can do this at any time. So far this year I have answered questions from nearly 6,000 residents and dealt with 12,641 cases.”
